 The Hadith of Gabriel


 It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day we were sitting with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when suddenly a person with very white hair and no one came on it.  There was an effect and none of us knew it.


 He came and sat down with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he sat down on his knees and said: Put your hands on the blessed knees of the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).  (صَلَّى اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم) Tell me about Islam?


 The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Islam is that you bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).  Let him fast Ramadan and if he has the strength, he should perform Hajj to Baitullah Sharif.


 He said: You have told the truth.  We were surprised that he asked the question himself and then confirmed it himself.  Then he said: Tell me about faith?


 He said: Faith is that you believe in Allah Almighty, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Hereafter and good and bad destiny.


 He said: You have told the truth.  Then he said: Tell me about kindness?


 He said: Then worship Allah Almighty as if you are seeing Him. If you cannot see Him, then He is seeing you.


 


 He said: He who is asked about the Hour does not know more than the one who asks.


 He said: Tell me only the signs of the Hour.


 He said: The slave girl will know her master and you will see that the barefoot, the naked, the poor and the shepherds will be proud of each other in the construction of high and lofty houses


 Then the man left, I paused for a moment,


 Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: O Omar!  Do you know who the questioner was?  I said: Allah Almighty and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was Gabriel who came

Allah Zikr karne ka tarika
