Peace be upon you, all friends, happy day
* Economic prosperity has been the desire of every age and every human being. We all desire expansion and blessings in sustenance, but in the light of Qur'an and Hadith we are unaware of the reasons for expansion of sustenance. Only rely on worldly efforts, hard work and effort. In today's post, I am writing a few reasons for the breadth of sustenance and blessings in the light of Qur'an and Hadith. If we adopt these means along with the worldly struggle, then Allah Almighty will give us abundance and blessings in our provision, InshaAllah:
Asking for forgiveness and repentance (asking Allah for forgiveness of sins)
The Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an about Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) that he said to his people:
So I said: Ask forgiveness of your Lord for your sins. Surely He is Forgiving, Merciful. He will send down rain from the sky on you, and will increase your wealth and your children, and will make for you gardens and rivers. (Surat an-Nuh: 4)
The commentators write that in these verses of Surah Nooh (1.2), verse number (3) of Surah Hud, and verse number (3) there is evidence that asking forgiveness for sins increases and blesses the provision.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever asks Allaah for forgiveness of his sins frequently, Allaah will save him from every sorrow, remove him from every difficulty and provide for him from there. From where there will be no illusions. (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Nisa'i, Ibn Majah, Musnad Hakim)
Taqwa (Living in the fear of Allah)
Allaah says in the Qur'aan: And whoever fears Allaah, He makes for him a way out (of every difficulty) and provides for him from where he does not expect. (Surat al-Talaq: 4)
Trust in Allah Almighty
The Meaning of Tawakkul (Trust) Imam al-Ghazali has written: Tawakkul means that the trust of the heart is only in the one on whom it is claimed to rely. (Revival of Sciences 3-9)
Allaah says in the Holy Qur'aan: And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah, He will suffice him. (Surat at-Talaq 3)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: If you trust in Allaah as He deserves to be trusted, then you should be provided for in the same way as birds are provided for. They leave on an empty stomach in the morning and return in the evening with a full stomach. (Musnad Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).
Remember that striving for sustenance is not against trust, as the above hadith shows that even birds have to come out of their nests to earn their livelihood.
To be free to worship Allah Almighty
This does not mean that we should sit in the mosque day and night and make no effort to earn a living, but should live in obedience to the commands of God Almighty.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Verily, Allaah said: O son of Adam! I will free myself from worshiping you, and I will fill your chest with thongs, and I will make you free from people. (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Musnad Ahmad)
Following Hajj and Umrah (performing Hajj and Umrah repeatedly)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Perform Hajj and 'Umrah one after the other. Indeed, both of them (Hajj and Umrah) remove poverty, ie poverty and sins in the same way that a furnace removes the dust of iron. (Tirmidhi, feminine)
Mercy (treating relatives well)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever wants to be generous in his provision, he should make a merciful reward. (Bukhari) Mercy increases and expands the provision. ۔ ۔ Almost every well-known book of Hadith on this subject contains the instructions of the Holy Prophet (sws) with different words.
Allaah says in the Noble Qur'aan: And whatever you spend (in the way of Allaah), He will repay you, and He is the Best of Providers. (Surat al-Saba ': 6)
In the light of the hadiths, the scholars have said that spending in the way of Allah will be rewarded both in this world and in the Hereafter. Revenge in the world will come in various forms, one of which is the openness of sustenance
۔
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Allaah said: O children of Adam! So spend, I will spend on you. (Muslim)
Or Dhu al-Jalal wa al-Ikram
Surely Thine is the kingdom on every side and Thou art the sole Lord of the universe, we are Thy servants and to Us is our return. They wor
ship You and ask You for help and ask You for forgiveness. So have mercy on us and forgive us our sins. Give us (and our brothers and sisters who are now unemployed) a lawful provision. Help us financially with the missing treasure and bless our provision. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Amen, or the Lord of the Worlds
