How much should a fast be redeemed?
Some scholars have taken it to mean one meal for every fast and most of them have meant to feed a poor person twice a day instead of one fast. Qareen Qiyas is a two-course meal because it is a command to pay fidyah in Ramadaan, so it means both sehri and iftaar. The “redemption of food for the poor” does not mean that the quality of the food that the poor person usually eats, but rather that the food given as redemption is the standard of the redeemer Will be according to, ie it will mean the food that the redeemer usually eats. Therefore, it becomes clear that it is up to the redeemer to determine it individually. It also becomes clear that it is impossible to set a ransom. So it can be more or less according to its individual criteria for each redeemer.
After paying such a ransom, the shar'i requirement is fulfilled, but Allah, glory unto Him, has also encouraged us to increase it. So whoever increases it, it will be better for himself. This means that the more redemption is added, the better. That is, it was recommended from a jurisprudential point of view. If the one who pays the ransom increases, he will be a good cause for it, but if he does not increase and suffices to give the poor food as a ransom according to his standard, then there is no sin on him, but the Shari'ah requirement is fulfilled. Will. This further clarifies that the amount of redemption depends on the individual redeemer, as each redeemer will increase it according to his or her capacity and taste. It will be just as good for you.
With this explanation, we should leave this issue to the one who pays the ransom, and not to determine the different amounts according to the prevailing prices of the required quantity of different commodities, assuming the obligatory ransom for those who cannot afford to fast as charity. It should be done, as some scholars do every year in the form of their fatwas. In these fatwas, the redemption ranges
How long can sehri be done?
What should one do if one's eyes do not open at dawn?
The time for eating Sehri is till Sadiq rises in the morning. The time for Sehri ends as soon as Sadiq rises in the morning.
And drink as much as you can, as far as the white man is concerned, as long as it lasts.
Nowadays, newspapers, mobiles, online everywhere, there is a timetable for getting up early in the morning. Some standards have also been set in this regard, according to which breakfast should be stopped.
It is not appropriate to eat and drink until the call to prayer and the siren start ringing in modern times, because there is a clock in every house and there is also the knowledge of the dawn of Sadiq.
Some people eat until the call to prayer ends, which is completely wrong, because the call to prayer begins at dawn, while the time for sehri ends at dawn.
The first edition (10/283) of the fatwa of the Saudi Permanent Fatwa Committee states that:
The rules for breaking the fast and breaking the fast are as follows:
(All) drink as much as you can for the sake of the white man, not for the sake of the sun.
Translation: Eat and drink until at dawn the white thread becomes distinct from the black thread for you, then complete the fast till nightfall. [Al-Baqarah: 187]
Therefore, it is permissible to eat and drink until dawn, and this is what Allaah has declared to be a white thread, which is the end of the time for breaking the fast. And if a person eats and drinks while listening to the call to prayer, then see if the call to prayer is after dawn, then it is qadha, and if it is after dawn, then it is not qadha.
In some ahaadeeth, the virtue of delaying the dawn has been mentioned, but it means to delay it until after the dawn, and not after the dawn.
Sehri is not a condition for fasting, it is possible to fast without sehri, but it is not proper not to do sehri on purpose because it is a deprivation of a great Sunnah.
