Hadith
Hadith No. 4
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Fasting is a shield (from Hell). He should not say obscene things in fasting, nor should he speak of ignorance. Am I swear by the One in whose hand is my soul that the smell of the mouth of the fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the fragrance of musk. Allah says: The fasting person gives up his food and drink for me and gives up his desire. And I myself will repay him, and for one good deed I will be rewarded with ten good deeds.
Hadith No. 6
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is a door in Paradise which is called Ryan. Fasting people will go to Paradise through this door. Wherever they are, they will stand up. None of them will go except them. When these people go inside, the door will be closed and no one else will be able to go through it.
Hadith No. 8
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: When Ramadaan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened.
